Environmental Directives Timeline
With the focus on environmental issues continuing to increase, we are faced with increasing environmental regulation, much of which is derived from the European Union. The volume of environmental legislation that is now in existence can be a little overwhelming at times and with new legislation continuing to be published, it is important nowadays for all types of business to keep up-to-date with new developments.
The Environment Agency has established, through a partnership between the UK environmental regulators, NetRegs that provides free environmental guidance, including guidance on how to comply with the law, for small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UK. The NetRegs website www.netregs.gov.uk gives a comprehensive account of all the current environmental legislation that may affect your business.
